Building Partnerships has been involved in several LIHTC tax credit pools. We are currently working with four tenant associations, the District of Columbia (DHCD) and nonprofit developer, Mi Casa, on four building acquisitions and renovations. Each building has its own tenant association which desires to achieve long term affordable rents in a fully renovated building including every tenant’s unit. Building Partnership's history of success are represented through these four successful property acquisitions:

  • 4040 8th Street, NW – 20 unit long term affordable rental. District of Columbia (DHCD) acquisition financing closed April 2017.

  • 5400-5408 5th Street, NW – 12 unit long term affordable rental. District of Columbia (DHCD) acquisition financing approved. Bridge acquisition closing completed 2017.

  • 301 Delafield Place, NW – 25 unit long term affordable rental. District of Columbia (DHCD) acquisition financing approved. Bridge acquisition closing completed 2017.

  • 1847-1849 Good Hope Road, SE - 18 unit long term affordable rental. District of Columbia (DHCD) acquisition financing approved. Bridge acquisition closing completed 2017.
