Building Partnerships (BP) acted as co-developer to E&G and development consultant to two tenant groups as part of the 2nd LIHTC Pool. BP initially provided pro-bono consulting to the Piney Branch Tenant Association after the 30 unit project languished for seven years. BP began work with the coop in early 2012 resulting in successful application for 9% Tax Credit in mid-2012.  In order to make this relatively small building economically viable using tax credits, BP identified a second tenant association project comprised of 51 units spread over 13 buildings.  Both buildings were completed and tenants returned in 2015.
